Legendary Spirit
#1
Simple questions regarding the "Legendary Spirit" skill.

1. Do "Potential Scrolls" work?

2. Do "Equip Enhancements" work?

3. Do "Shield Wards" prevent item destruction?

4. Do "Pam's Song" / "White Scroll" effects trigger if a scroll fails?

I'm trying to figure out what I can and cannot do to my Agares Hammer across alts.
Thanks in advance.

4. Not sure about Pam's, but White Scrolls do if you tick the box that says "use white scroll" before using whatever scroll you want to use.

Alright cool. now for clarification for #3, I'm assuming you apply the shield ward to the item BEFORE using the Legendary Spirit, correct? I've never used one whatsoever so I'm still uber noob to the item itself.

Typical basil responses were way mixed, from doing Google searches lol.

Never. Ever. Ask Basilers questions.

LOL, that's why I always ask here after I try googling for answers. Majority of the results come from Basil and 98% of those topics have mixed answers.

Shielding Ward is a scroll in itself so you would use Legendary Spirit to apply its effect to an item

if you can't use a weapon, you can't ward it, so yep, legendary spirit is the only way to ward it apart from equipping it, make sure it has the shield symbol before scrolling tho

When you try to use a Shielding Ward on something through Legendary Spirit it will say "Cannot use this on this item" or something along those lines (don't remember exactly what it was), just ignore it and hit ok and the box that comes up when you use a Shielding Ward on something equipped comes up behind it.

Man, didn't think Shield Wards could cause this much trouble lol.

So with all this talk about the wards, here's one question since I've never done this myself either.

P/SOKing an item that has the "Trade disabled after equipped", namely my Agares Hammer. Will it become untradeable once moved to a different character, or does the character have to actually equip the item to disable trading?

As long as you don't equip it it will remain tradeable. Once you equip it you have to P/SoK it each time it goes into the inventory of a different character.

Awesome! That's what I was hoping to see. I would have REALLY hated having to PSOK my hammer after every character uses their 3 AEEs.

As you could probably tell, I'm super paranoid about scrolling ANYTHING. This is why I never go too much into it lol.
