CONFIRMED BY MARVEL, CUMBERBATCH TO BE DOCTOR STRANGE!

Scheduled to hit theaters November 4, 2016, Doctor Strange is scripted by Jon Spaihts and is said to follow the story of neurosurgeon Dr. Stephen Strange who, after a horrific car accident, discovers the hidden world of magic and alternate dimensions.

“Stephen Strange’s story requires an actor capable of great depth and sincerity,” says Producer Kevin Feige. “In 2016, Benedict will show audiences what makes Doctor Strange such a unique and compelling character.”

So it's finally official. The new Avengers cast is almost complete!

A BRAND NEW SPIDERMAN WILL JOIN THE AVENGERS!

Sony and Marvel Disney made a deal.
Sony will continue it's current franchise incorporating elements from the MCU in it's own reality at Spiderman 3.
Spiderman will appear in any of the new Marvel movies and will join the Avengers in Avengers 3!

Under a new deal, a new Spider-Man will first appear in a currently-unspecified Marvel film within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Sony Pictures will thereafter release the next installment of its $4 billion Spider-Man franchise, on July 28, 2017, in a film that will be co-produced by Kevin Feige and his expert team at Marvel and Amy Pascal, who oversaw the franchise launch for the studio 13 years ago. Together, they will collaborate on a new creative direction for the web slinger. Sony Pictures will continue to finance, distribute, own and have final creative control of the Spider-Man films.

However, several MCU movies changed dates to accomodate the Spiderman franchise:

Thor: Ragnarok will now arrive nearly four months later than planned, moving to November 3, 2017 (from July 28). Black Panther, which previously held that spot, gets delayed eight months, going from that original November 3 date to July 6, 2018. That, in turn, bumps Captain Marvel to November 2, 2018 and moves Inhumans all the way to July 12, 2019. The two-part Avengers: Infinity War, meanwhile, remains set for release May 4, 2018 and May 3, 2019.

It's also apparently been confirmed that Andrew Garfield won't be reprising his role as Spiderman, as well. Really excited they finally worked something out.

I love that Spiderman is (sort of) back with Marvel but I'm really sad that he's not going to be staying on, I really liked him in the ASM movies. I thought he was miles better than Tobey Maguire

I totally agree with you. They have confirmed Sinister Six movie is still in development, so we could still get a movie or two more with Garfield.

Also, the Wall Street Journal reports that our first look at the new spiderman will be as early as Captain America Civil War next year.

Edit: Ok, nevermind. Confirmed by Garfield's manager and Sony pictures. Completly new Spiderman, and they are looking for really young guys. 2017 solo Spiderman movie and the eventual Sinister Six will apparently involve the new MCU Spiderman.

Biggest name being thrown around by everyone is Maze Runner star Dylan O'Brien. Taron Egerton (Kingsman: The Secret Service) and Logan Lerman (Percy Jackson) are also said to be studio and fan favorites.

All these Spiderman movies are killing the series for me. They're always different actors and the plot shifts are just bad. Be consistent for once, and follow through with proper sequels. I swear...

Interesting piece of info came out today about the deal made between Marvel Disney and Sony.

Also revealed is just how much money has changed hands regarding the deal - $0. Marvel Studios won't pay Sony Pictures for the rights to put Spider-Man in "Captain America: Civil War," the "Avengers" sequels or other superhero films, and Sony won't receive a percentage of the revenue Disney makes from Marvel’s films that have Spider-Man.

So what does Sony get out of the deal? The same arrangement. Marvel won't receive a cut of the box office for any of Sony's films that feature Spider-Man and potentially some of the other MCU heroes. Kevin Feige also won't receive payment for his role in helping revive Sony's "Spider-Man" franchise

Also, not only is the Sinister Six movie still in development, but also the Venom movie.
I get Sinister Six is something like an answer for Suicide Squad, but the Venom one looks interesting.

Age of ultron spoilers.

Well that was ok. Not as good as Avengers 1, and certainly not nearly GotG level, but an okay film. The pacing was all over the place and there was never any tension at all. Because none of the avengers were ever in any danger of being hurt by ultron, who somehow was able to fight captain america but not be instantly turned into a fine paste by Thor.

Civil War is out for the world, with the exception of the USA!

Not Marvel's best movie. Loved the airport action scene, some cool surprises.

Dissapointing ending. Seriously dissapointing.

Fun movie. I was left wanting more.
