But they get double the amount of NX per avatar meaning it takes at least 6 months before you can consider that you saved money, and knowing the ADHD behavior of most NX buyers they'd be bored of their perma avatars before the 6 months are up, and willl want to buy something else. D:

I'm glad this was brought to my attention now. I was planning on buying my perma set when I come back for Big Bang, but it seems I would have been assed out by that point.

They didn't remove the bundles. You click on the 1k NX Gachapon ticket and you can select what kind of bundle you want (10k NX for 11, 30k NX for 35), like how you select a temporary or permanent CS item.

Yup, this seems like a marketing strategy.

3 months later: "OH GAISE WE'RE SO GREAT THAT WE DECIDED TO BRING BACK THE PERMANENT OPTION TEMPORALLY! AREN'T WE LIKE THE BESTEST?!?!"

For whatever it's worth (not much) here's what Hime had to say on the subject:

Indeed it was suppose to be a permanent feature of the game but we are doing a lot changes for Big Bang and the removal of permanent NX items is one of them. This removal was not originally intended when we launched permanent items. So right now the current permanent items will be leaving the Cash Shop but when we release new Cash Shop equipment it will have the perm feature for a limited time in case player want to pick a permanent version.

So it's because of Big Bang? Confirmed, they're doing it to sell more 90-day items for the 3 new jobs.

Maybe when these 3 jobs settle we'll have the permanent option for all items back.

Yeah, Hime is being ridiculous. She should have just ignored that thread because her proposals are absolutely worthless. Claiming that permanent cash shop equipment has anything to do with Big Bang means that once again she has no idea what she's talking about, OR she thinks we're all idiots. Could be either, or both.

She could have or should have just said that they feel their revenue will be in danger due to a number of changes including the decreased experience to level so they have had to make some compromises in order to retain a profit. I would accept that as an answer, though not the one I'd want to hear. Instead they lie and treat us like fools.

Though seriously, im gonna tell the people i know to take action now, the less sales they make after this implementation the faster they can give up and go back go offering permanent items again.

Is it playing into their hand? yes, but Nexon has a good hand in this game.
