How the pineapple does that work? I know you must hit the other partner to make that effect disapear.
But the boss just pineappleing keeps spamming that, making it impossible even to break the chains before getting disabled.
.
Does the boss have an specific animation for that skill? If so, what's it?
Also, there's a way to avoid that and just clear the PQ without dying a thousand times?

someone is guaranteed to die after. Unless you're really lucky. there should be an animation for it though (probably really small and not obvious). You don't need to free them if you don't want to o_O as long as one person is in the room, you guys can come back to the same HP life, so dying isn't too big a deal.
No way to avoid it unless you do the level 30 pq.

Move coordinates.
Whenever a person is frozen, it means a bomb was planted there. So try your best to move away from that area (preferably on the top).

Yea, the main problem i found wasn't dying in fact, but needing to heal my HP back once i die to prevent another death.
God, that thing is annoying as hell.

If you move out of the move to the top, he wouldn't be able to reach you. The effect for the bomb&chain is two blue gears appearing on top of him. The attack happens just after the effect disappears (not when the effect first appears) so you have to be careful. In 120 VPQ, you might as well zergrush it.

You can dodge the attack. The bomb is on you and starts chasing you. If i get disabled by him, i attack for a few seconds, then i fly away and very rarely get hit by the bomb. And then I see the bomb go off about 2 character lengths behind me

His touch is only 10k so I just stand on him... works until I lag and he manages to disable me.

Yeah, with threaten. I actually take about 7.8-8k due to PG. His actual touch would be around 15.5k.

As Kaasoljoyyx stated, it is entirely possible to dodge the explosion after being "disabled." Its about 5 secs or so after being disabled that the explosion happens so just make sure you keep moving after a few skills/hits. On my Hero I use about 3 brandish before I start to jump away, on my DB, I use CoH followed by 1 or 2 upperstabs before I run. Just takes some practice to get used to, but it isn't that tough to deal with (although its a pain when you get spammed by magic atks while you're stuck there). I actually don't rely on trying to break the chains because I don't really notice much of a difference or any change at all. When attacking though, attack from both sides, thats actually a big help to reducing how many people get sealed away by the chains.

if you have a partner, have one person on either side of him, too. that way only one person gets chained while the other continues attacking. don't break the other's chains.

Like the others said, you have a few seconds before the bomb goes off. The bomb isn't on the place you were frozen, its actually follows you. But if you move fast enough, you can avoid it easily. Try not to run towards other people who are attacking the boss after you were frozen. That will get your team mates killed if the bomb decided to blow up just after you passed them by.
You can break the chain with regular attack, but it doesn't always work. I've done it with my BM regular atk, but i can never seem to get it to work on my mage.
