Oh, hai! So.. what's everyone up to?

Wednesday, August 27th, 2008:

So today, I couldn't sleep.. much. Woke up around 2 AM, and was thirsty, went downstairs to the basement, to the garage, and opened my fridge, and grabbed a can of Pepsi and went back to my room and drank the entire thing before going back to sleep.

Around 1 PM today, I went to the mall to see if the clerk (or whatever) person was done shortening my bracelet, and I think shortening an actual silver-bracelet costs like 10 dollars or so? And they said they weren't done yet, so I went to the UPS to grab an envelope with "bubble wrap" on the inside, and also bought about 20-individual stamps. All of this costed about 10 dollars, ow, my wallet.

Then I went back home, wrapped my gf's ...-coughs- 4 months-late birthday present (a golden-locket that's heart-shaped, if you must know), and in the front, it has these words engraved on it "I love you" with a pink rose next to it.

Anyhow, I put the locket back in the case, and I wrote her a small letter, and I stuffed that in the case. ;] Then I wrapped it up, and went to my living room to look for family pictures. I found 2 really nice pictures of myself, and I put it in the envelope (that has bubble wrap inside of it), and then stuffed the case with the locket in it. I took 4 stamps and put it on the top right corner of the envelope, and I wrote down her address and mine. About 15 minutes later, I went to the mall, and right around the entrance of the mall, there was a huge blue mailbox, and I put my present in there.

I think it's gonna take 7 days or so til she gets it, since she lives in a country that's only a bit farther from where I live. -coughs- Canadia~ (where she lives), United States (where I live). 8D

Then I went home, and started lifting.. yay? Only 5 days left or so til I go back to college again~. But I'd rather go to college than to stay at home.

This year (2nd year in college), I have a 18-credits semester, fun, eh? 5 classes, yayaya. Every Monday, I have 3 classes, and I'm on campus from 11 AM - 10 PM at night, fun, eh?

So what is everyone else up to? Anyone looking forward to college? Don't mind me, I'm just rambling since I'm bored.

I haven't been up to much. It's weird after stopping education and September comes around, no more pre-term preparing! D: Can't believe I actually miss it. I'm actually job hunting (STILL... ugh) and I can't decide what I want to do for a living. I wish employers would respond sooner to applicants, I'm still waiting to hear results of a couple of online tests I did a month ago for a merchandising job, somehow I think I'm gonna give up on that. <_< So now it's CAD engineer or accountant, oh boy. It makes me want to be a student again.

It's never too late to send out a birthday gift! xD I told Mark (the bf) I'd make him a toy kitty (we like cats) for his birthday in May, but I had a lot going on during that time with exams and stress and what not, and I eventually started making it in July. I managed to make it in a day, which made me feel silly for putting it off for so long. But he still appreciated it a lot and that's what mattered.

I'm bored too since Mark's PC died and he can't get to another one. I should probably be sleeping anyway...

Just been working, working. And some unmentionable sources of stress.

Jarr and Deeee been trying to get me to log into maple on weekdays. I get home too late and too tired to really play after work. And I started playing Animal Crossing on my DS just about daily now, lol.

What are you studying at college Khoi? Never got around to asking you that, lol.

Well in this past week I've been going to Band Camp.

It starts at 8 in the morning. At this point, I've brought my base drum down to the field. At around 9-10, we start working on sets for our field show. Then at noon, we have an hour long lunch break. From 1-3 we work on our music in sections. Then, at 3, we go back down to the field and work on marching the sets while playing our instruments. At 5, we get to go home.

Oh, and did I mention my base drum weighs 32 pounds?

Computer Networking / Computer Information Systems.

It's a pain in the ass.. <_<; One more year, and I graduate. I'm learning from CISCO at the moment, even though I'm attending a community college, but after this year is over, if possible, I'd like to transfer out and go somewhere else. But I have no idea which college I'll be going to. =S
