Today, I went to a local AAA Baseball game of a team I've watched since I was a child, the Norfolk Tides, but I haven't been there in at least 7 years, if not more.
Anyway, in the first inning, the visiting team got a man on base and then scored a home run. At this point, I thought the game was practically over. The score stayed 0 - 2 until the ninth inning. Then, the Tides finally stepped up to the plate. They got a run in by an accident by the other team, though not an error. They tied up the game 2 - 2, but then got an out, which sent the game into overtime. Two or three innings later, the Tides got 2 men on base and the batter hit the ball right perfectly down the gap between center field and left field and the two players nearly ran into each other and completely missed the ball. The Tides won instantly. xP
All I could hear at that moment was the loud roar of the crowd cheering. This is probably the most eventful nights I've had in a long time.
PS : As of 4 minutes ago, it is now my 20th birthday.
