1) The graphics are too good.
2) The s'hittyness of the PSP in general makes me cringe.
The PSP is capable of incredible things. While an unhacked PSP is very limited, it's still a very impressive piece of hardware. Although a hacked PSP is an unbeatable handheld when it comes to GAMING ON THE GO. So I'm not sure where you get off saying the PSP is shitty, unless you mean the official game selection in which case you'd be right but you should say what you mean otherwise you're wrong.

The official game selection sucks, though i have no idea what you're talking about with hacking it. How does that make it vastly better exactly?

You can play every game pre-N64 on a hacked PSP. From Atari to PS1 games, giving it the second widest ranging library of available games, next to the PC. And the PS1 had (widely agreed upon, not a fact though) the best library of any system to date. So being able to play those games on the go without any graphical problems is very nice,

PSP isnt really bad, its just the initial form of it was pretty bulky compared to the DS. If the PSP was released without the DS to compete agaisnt, no one would complain, but since the PSP is almost like twice as big, people pomegranate over nothing.
No one cares about size, but it does help. The DS was just as bulky as the PSP when they first came out, and the PSP was admittadly more sleek. Everyone cares about game library (official, because not everyone can/wants to hack their stuff), which the PSP does not have.

My main beef about the "game library" arguement is the fact that the DS games are produced 10 a day, where PSP gets a new game every so often. The difference between those games are 7/10 of those DS games most likely suck badly, where as the PSP games are normally made with more depth. Granted I cant argue that the best, but its the gist of it.

That would be fun, but due to KH sidegames (i.e, anything except KH 1 and 2) lacking in the secret bosses department, I wouldn't count on it.

Does the DS one lack in games as well?
And as for PSP vs. DS, I've had a DS since launch, and just recently bought a PSP with graduation money over this summer. I for one, like both of them xP I just wish that PSP games were 10$ cheaper, and that the PSN games didn't take up so much space (or in FF7's case, allow you to download just 1 disc at a time, because I seriously don't need the first two hogging memory card space anymore..)

But then once you get a decent collection going, you may or may not run out of space on it. I've got around 25 DS games at this point, and I'm sure I'll eventually hit like 15ish on PSP (I'm up to 4 now, plus FF7 and Everyday Shooter, and there's like 5 games that are out now that I want, and another 5ish coming out that I want that I'll get around to buying).

Lol, are you serious? I've yet too see a portable console match PSP graphics and functionality. And to further emphasize what Sarah said, a softmodded PSP can run homebrew apps. That means:
- Emulators (most of them are stable).
- Design tools.
- Homemade Browsers (the internal one is kinda s'hitty)
- Chat apps.
- Large etc.
However, I agree on the lack of a PSP exclusive library. I'm only looking forward Tales of Vs., KH: Birth and FF Agito XIII.

Man, I'm getting really pumped for this game! I've been waiting over 4 years for this game.
Spoiler maybe?
It's not available for viewing I think but there are summaries of the latest trailer video released at Tokyo Game Show 2009. I would say the major parts are when TAV's master Erauqs (and Land of Departure information was released a few days ago) was revealed, the unknown warrior, two of Ansem's apprentices defending against Ventus (Dilan/Xaldin & Aeleus/Lexaeus), and TAV against MX.
These trailers keep making me more curious...
There's also the latest interview which brings up some interesting news. If you're interested, here's some bedtime reading for you
