EDIT: Nevermind, just starting over with a pre-patched ROM. Thank God I didn't release the event Pokemon from my Pearl.

There's this other guy working on a patch for Soul Silver only. He's been working at a pretty decent pace, releasing a patch once every week or so. V3 was released last night, and it's got tons of translated content (Bellsprout Tower, first gym, Slowpoke Well, second gym, Ilex Forest and the third gym). Here's the link for anyone who's interested.

Heart Gold is the version that I planned on getting, but I might just play through Soul Silver, get the legendaries/exclusive pokemans and trade them over to HG.
