Alright this has been buggin me for years. I believe luck factors into the % lost upon death. So how many luck do i need in order to lose only 1%?
I personally never lost less than 5%, and there are speical areas where u can lose only 1% liek CRog.
Myth or Fact?

percentage loss on death is class based now. it isn't based on luk anymore.

You can never lose (unless in a special place).

Plus...you might want to switch your name O_O.
Edit: ^ They changed it?

Warriors and Pirates lose 10%. Yes, that includes Gunslingers. Sucks to be them!
Archers lose 7%.
Thieves and Mages lose 5%.
As I understand it, it IS still based on Luck, however archers were adjusted to 7% because it was unfair to make us lose as much as warriors when we have as little HP as thieves. The only difference from before, aside from archers, is that LUK from equips does NOT decrease the EXP you lose upon death. So, yeah, that's how I understand this problem. It might be wrong but I know the percentage losses are right.
In town maps, party quests, and special boss maps (Like Zakum, Papulatus, Crimson balrogs), you only lose 1% upon death.

I can't comment on the new system, but the old one was pretty simple.
5 + 20/LUK = percent lost.
The absolute minimum you could lose in a normal situation was slightly over 5% obviously.
I still don't see how it's fair to make Warriors lose more when they die, but whatever. Nexon isn't all about being fair.
Honestly Warriors and Archers were both better off with the old system, Zakum Helmet + 4 base luk = 6% lost. The only people who benefit from this change are lukless mages and archers who don't have a Zakum Helmet yet.

Warriors are tanks. When one dies, something really messed up so they want to punish us for it...
What about LUKless mages to normal mages? I could swear my LUKless lost more percent... but I haven't played that for some time.
