Which version of Photoshop do you use?
#21
Paint.net - it's legally free.

There's certainly a lot of stuff you can't do with it, and it really makes me ARGH sometimes, but ripping Photoshop off somewhere is too much of a hassle. I never torrent or anything... so yah.

Part of the fun is seeing what you can do with what you have at hand, no?

I've had a copy of PS7 for a while (legal lulz).

I don't really use it anymore though.

Using gimp 2.6 myself. it is actually pretty powerful. true it is not really intended to be a photoshop substitute, but i do not really need full CMYK support or whatever it is that photographers find lacking in gimp. i am enjoying exploring it and getting to know its ins and outs. love how it is open source!

also for some reason all my .psds were much bigger than my .xcfs...i only save in .xcf now. have no reason to go back to photoshop!

oh... and paint tool SAI is my newest obsession. so incredibly lightweight (RAM wise), it's like painting on nothing!

also is a lot more intuitive for painting than gimp or photoshop. (: beautiful beautiful
