MapleStory will be going through a scheduled Server Check on Tuesday, August 5th, 2008.



This one involves the game servers, and it'll last for approximately 2.5 hours.

- Time : Tuesday, August 5th, 10:00 pm ~ 12:30 am PDT

(Wednesday, August 6th, 5:00 am ~ 7:30 am GMT)



The website will be available during the Server Check.

What is Server Maintenance?



Certain tasks cannot be performed when the server is online and everyone is playing, thus weekly maintenance is necessary. This includes bug fixes, name changes, server transfers, new items, and server optimization.

Their last 5 or 6 server checks have cut off part of my 2x. Sure, I can handle a couple, but they used to have a nightly one, then a morning one, and do it like that, now they suddenly stopped.

Maybe that machine gun xbow that people wanted will finally be out this time? (only non-released item in our data I can think of, heh).

As cool as a machine gun xbow sounds, I'm with Tamekii on this one, Crimsonwood pl0x ;_;.

I thought they were going to release it when set 4 comes out since many of the cards have CK in them.

There's still hope!

Besides, if they wait another week, we'd be in mid august. Meaning their previous announcement of it being available "early august" would be null.

I thought they were going to release it when set 4 comes out since many of the cards have CK in them.

They have to patch in the Set 4 items before anybody gets their hands on Set 4 cards, otherwise the codes won't work :f6:

I understand that but at the same time, we're not getting any Crimsonwood in a server check.

I know that patches often come a few days after the weekly SC so lets hope it goes right. 4th job was on a Thursday and so were a few other things. Dont get me wrong, I hope for it this week as much as the next dude (next dude, dont prove me wrong please D but... as of now, it doesnt look like it until they announce something.
