My favorite piano movement of all time. Piano is truly one of the most beautiful and inspirational instruments. I regret quitting lessons six years ago...

I think the piano gets way too much attention at times due to its prevalence in modern music and as a result some other instruments are overlooked.

Anyway, I absolutely love Adagio for Strings by Samuel Barber. I was quite glad to have the opportunity to play this in my string orchestra in high school.

October by Eric Whitacre. Really an amazing piece for wind ensembles. I'm currently playing it in my high school music class.

Oh man. Beautiful piece, but terrible to have to count out the notes. When I played it, sometimes it just too slow to make sense.

@above: The band at my school played that one concert...they followed with Chaos Theory, ha.
