So why is c used specifically? Is there a reason, or just a random letter was picked from a hat?

One person uses it. Someone sees it and uses it as well.

I always thought of it as standing for "capitals." Kinda like you're saying "post is all capitals, so I need a lowercase letter." Kinda like when people say "post too short."

Just because you're active doesn't mean you contribute anything to the forum. Many of the active members take away, actually.

That just means that the average is a null contribution, and "below average" is taking away quality from the forum.
