In the long run, it does. If Nexon keeps releasing MW 30, eventually it's going to deflate and nobody wants it anymore. The same could be said of almost any item Nexon has done these events with: SE 20, MW 20, Fire Demon 20, Triple Throw 30 (Ok, maybe not as much for this one), Genesis 30... the list goes on and on. Though MW20, Genesis 30 and Triple Throw 30 have temporarily inflated, they are certainly not at the price they were before Nexon stuck them in boxes.

Hmm, old, old silver box with new silver key = work? Cause i have like 800 silver boxes from the old gacha events. and those actually gave out good stuff.....(blue seal cushion, white coon mask...)

I had some old gold boxes from the previous event and they changed in the last patch.

The previous event was like the 4th gacha event. o.o

Yea, but it still costs Nexon nada. They do not want your mesos you know, and they have plenty of items to make people wanna buy gach.
