The Beautifull Truth of communism!
#1
Hello, like the post why so many ppl dislike socialism? i came up to this too
i am tired of my history teacher being such a nationalist WH0R3 i like America and i am proud to be a citizen but the truth is American is not perfect either.
I Did some research on my own and Read 2 books Called MeinKampf ( My struggle by adolf hitler and Marx, and Angels soviet union book) they all have good views and good points

one of them that caught my eye is communism
communism is a perfect system, where the government is the people
there is no corruption and everybody gets the same amount of economy right and, you get enough to survive, and enough for what you want.
the problem to communism its you people, and me too.
What i mean by this is that we are ambitious, we are corrupt, some of us don't have morals, some people are killers, murderers, rapist, etc.
that is why this system fails, if we were all moral people following what the bible says, of what ever religion you are. communism would be perfect,
but some people are greedy and will do anything and go over anyone to get what they want... just remember karma does exist.

It's not Angels, it's Engels. For fuuck's sake.

Communism has failed in virtually every country it has been tried in. It's possible in a small environment where people know each other and there is a decent amount of trust. Some of the American communes did it successfully. Probably the best example of communism that works is the Israeli Kibbutz. However, on a national scale, could you imagine trusting someone like George Bush to the point where it's inappropriate to question him? The corruption of power would be horrible.

Communism attempts to make a whole country into "one big happy family." Think of your own family; there are problems and conflicts. But you probably all love each other, so that gets things resolved. In a country that's not possible. In a whole country no body knows, likes or trusts other people. I personally think communism is good in Dungeons and Dragons, but put it in any country, and you'll fuuck that country up and accomplish nothing but line the pockets of the leaders. I might add that Karl Marx himself was a huge hypocrite, preaching all this communist BS, but being a good old-fashioned bourgeois himself. He kept his daughters away from the proletariat he claimed to cherish, because he didn't want them to marry someone of "poor breeding." Why didn't your research turn THAT up?

The fanatic communists claim that "no country has truly tried communism," but that's BS. I mean, what are they going to say, that they failed? Put one of these idealists at the head of a country, and soon people are going to be shot in the face for not going along iwth the program. Be glad you're in a capitalistic country; even being on welfare in America is better than Russia, and I say that having LIVED in the Soviet Union, while it was still called that.

in an idealistic world where the ruler is selfless and benevolent, a dictatorship and monarchy can work too. unfortunately we live in no such world. the ideals of the U.S. government works best with corruptible environment which is the checks and balances.

unfortunately, our government has been corrupted too from self gain, and lobbyist. one might say the people should have more power... but "None of us is as dumb as all of us."

View people as they are, not what you wish them to be.

and so, every form of government is flawed, because people are flawed. no matter how many good intentions. democracy is flawed, communism is flawed, monarchy is flawed.

if we believe that the form of the government is going to change anything, we are grasping at straws.

I agree with that; imperfect people cannot create a perfect society.

This is why we need robots to run our governments. But wait, can imperfect people create perfect robots?

Thread stater, your thread must be a joke. "soviet union book" ... It is called the Communist Manifesto, and for God's sake, if you're modeling your theory of communism on the Soviet Union, no one but North Koreans will accept it. Also, there is a low probability you actually read Mein Kampf... it has maybe 2 reasonable points (I wouldn't call them good) and the rest of it is incoherent rambling. Oh, and karma doesn't exist. Moral equity does not exist on a universal level, or a lot of people in the world would die by their own hands(actions). But you did make on good conclusion: America is not perfect, we should go back to libertarianism (ie before McKinely).
