Can an explorer do the wild monkey quest?

So the level 16 Assassin I made an hour ago can start neither the free golden ticket quest, the recycled ticket quest nor the wild monkey quest. Why?

As far as I've heard, Golden Temple quests ended prematurely. Wait until after the patch and see if you can do it then.
