Hanabira is from Singapore but his Japanese is impeccable. Besides no one has pointed a grammar mistake on any of my 300+ posts so far and English is technically my second language. If you're going to use a second language, do a good job or use a translator.

Spanish is compulsory in much of the US so I'm sure native Spanish speakers get used to muy mal espanol but when Americans are lazily using Japanese you know they're half-assing it. I've seen people use fluent Japanese and they weren't experts, they were more careful with their sentence structure and word choice. I might be hypersensitive to crappy Japanese from all those foreign KSers from a few years back (I think you know who I'm talking about) so I'll apologize if I was being harsh. 大変申し訳ございません。

My Japanese isn't very good, actually. I never took any formal lessons. All I do is check a dictionary every time I come across a word I've never seen before and memorise its meaning...
