shadow web. it actually has some sort of use in certain situations. shadow mesos just does what you already can, except it burns your mesos.

shadow web can take advantage of boss monster glitches much better than shadow meso could ever dream of. Saying that though, other thank killing Big Foot and New Years sacks, I have never found a use for Shadow Web in regular training.

For me, I'm going to add two into Booster, maxing it, max Dark Sight, 1 into Shadow Meso, and rest into Shadow Web. Shadow Meso, to tell the truth, isn't useful; eventually, your L7/TT will outdamage it anyways. You shouldn't be using Shadow Meso in regular training; just look at it, does it look like a training skill to you?

If I remember correctly, Shadow Mesos does ignore w.def and I'm pretty sure SE increases the critical rate on it, so if both skills were at max level, Shadow Meso's critical rate would increase from 10% to 25%.
Also, Shadow Web would be better since it benefits some situations. One being where you lure all Himes into a corner and Web 'em, so they stick there.. thus you could solo Tengu in peace without any Himes distracting you.

Shadow Meso is weak and burns mesos.

Shadow Web > Shadow Mesos
Reasons:
1) Web mastery level = 20. Mesos master level = 30.
2) TT is your primary attack, and since a NL's attack-formula is so dependant on weapon-attack, Shadow Mesos is sort of pointless.
3) Shadow Mesos (w/o Shadow Partner) = 1 throw
Shadow Mesos (w/ Shadow Partner) = 2 throws.
TT (w/o Shadow Partner) = 3 throws
TT (w/ Shadow Partner) = 6 throws
2 vs 6.
Of course, had Shadow Mesos been 4 hits, and add in another 4 with SP, I might reconsider, lololol.

the only reason people used to get shadow meso was because zakum runs took so long that hermits would commonly run out of stars. we dont have that problem any more, so its only use is outmoded.
