Mass hp washing technique - Tamillan - 2009-02-20 I heard about this technique. You lvl up with INT gear. then put 5 ap into mp. then buy 10 ap resets. Reset 5 mp and put into hp. Reset 5 mp and put into luk. Has anyone tried this before? I'm not even sure if it is doable. Also how much mp do you gain when you put lvl up ap into mp for each point? Mass hp washing technique - Findings - 2009-02-20 Any HP washing technique that involves putting points into MP is not actually an HP washing technique. You are only supposed to take points out of MP. Mass hp washing technique - Mazz - 2009-02-20 as I said on sleepywood: It depends how much INT gear you're wearing. I think 12 is the base, and then + however much INT you're wearing divided by 10. ex. (wearing 150 INT), +1 AP into MP, gain 27 MP. and its called MP washing, not mass HP washing, gaining more MP has nothing to do with more HP, this isn't directly helping your hp. Mass hp washing technique - Russt - 2009-02-20 Oh, it's doable in theory. But it costs twice as much, and all it effectively does is multiply the effect of your INT gear by 5. Sounds like a lot, but the only thing INT gear can do is increase how much you can HP wash, not how much HP you actually gain. Along the lines of what ^ above me said. Edit: Actually now that I think about it I'm not sure whether you can reset MP into HP. I know I've asked the very same question before somewhere, and gotten an answer, but I don't remember anymore as I was never intending to try it in the first place... Mass hp washing technique - Devil - 2009-02-20 Do you get more MP then normal when you add AP into MP when wearing INT gear? I only thought you got the bonus MP when wearing INT gear when lvling up... -IF- you would get more MP when putting AP into MP with wearing INT gear, this would be possible, but it would be really expensive I guess... 32NX per lvl? It would be like 320 dollars per 10 lvls for 50*16=800 more HP... That's 1 dollar per 2.5 HP... Whoa... :X Also don't forget if you use RESETS from MP to HP, you only get 16 HP per AP (fixed)... Mass hp washing technique - Tamillan - 2009-02-20 The reason i called it hp washing is because the more mp you have, the more you can hp wash. It doesn't matter what it is called. the important thing is that would INT gear really affect the amount of mp i gain by putting ap into mp? Sounds like someone with very high base INT can mp wash to get as much mp and then hp wash to get as much hp. Its expensive but NL wil have like 10k+ hp easily lol. Mass hp washing technique - RoxStarz - 2009-02-20 I haven't tried myself, but I remember reading from one guide that when you level up and get your Ability Points if you put those points into HP you get the MAX of 18. If you use a reset to take a point out of something and put it into HP it gives you the MIN of 8 or 9. If this is the case, then you wouldn't be getting too big of bang for your buck on the HP washing. A better scenario would be to MP wash and HP wash. Put 5 points into MP, then put them into luck. When you lvl again put those points into HP and then wash them out. When you use ap resets to put hp you get always 16hp. Mass hp washing technique - Stereo - 2009-02-20 I'm not sure this would be an effective use of points. When resetting HP/MP, you always lose the max amount or gain the min amount (10 vs 12 for mp, 16 vs 20 for HP). So for 5 points put in MP, you're getting (11+gear int/10) (assuming it even counts gear when putting points in MP) and then losing 60. If you reset directly to HP, you're only getting 80 hp. Then when you reset the MP again you lose another 60. So you have to be up at least 134 MP (including the increase due to levelup) in order to wash this way. Split over levelup (14-16+gear) and 5 points in MP (10-12+gear) you get guaranteed 64-76 MP, average 70, and need to make up 64 from gear in 5 steps. So for this to work you need 130+ int with gear, and you gained 80hp for 10 resets. That's 8 hp per reset. In contrast, the int washing method: Go pure int to level (x), then pure mp to level (y). Obviously this costs a lot of resets (y*5) to clear up, but if you want much extra HP it can be effective. From level 10 to x, you're gaining 10 int every 2 levels (starting at 4/25/37/4 @ 10), so 3, 4, 4, 5, 5, 6, 6, ... extra mp. Say x is level 50. Then you end up with 237 int, 516 extra MP. Now from x to y, you're putting 5 points in MP every level, as well as gaining extra mp on levelups. Say y is level 90. That's 40*5 = 200 mp + 40 levelups = 240*23 = 5520 extra mp. (assuming no gear int, anyway) Now you have 233+200 points to reset, but you gained 6036 mp. 503 washes (level 90-190 5 points per level) will get rid of it. End result being that you only used 936 resets to get 9054 hp, or 9.67 hp per reset. At that scale 1.7 extra hp per reset adds up, as in 1600 extra hp for your trouble. A 190 normally has 4300? so you got 13300 instead of 11700. (21300 vs 18700 with HB) That's the difference from beign able to tank HT's tail o_O Adding INT gear also makes this method better. If, starting at 50, you have +80 int from gear until lv.90, you can look forward to an additional 1920 MP, giving you an extra 160 washes: 1096 total for 11800 total HP, an improvement to 10.76 hp/ap, and ending up with 16200 base HP, 26000 with HB. This technique can also be optimized further if you have a specific target HP in mind, and you know what int gear you can get - these are just vague numbers to demonstrate that it's feasible. Mass hp washing technique - Kaasoljoyyx - 2009-02-20 Tamillan Wrote:I heard about this technique. Z = The MP gained from int gears X is the MP you get from adding in 5 MP points. From Bui's thread, this is 10~12MP, let's just say it's 12. Y is the MP you take out, which is always 12 for thieves/archers So you basically added 5 points into MP which equated to roughly 60~ MP. Then you bought 5 resets and took 5 points out from MP, and you just lost 60 MP and put it into HP. And then you took out points from MP from int gears and put it into your stat @Red text directly above: Why would you add 60 MP, then pay 15.5k nx to take it out and put it right back into HP. You should have just added directly into HP to save yourself the money. Only if there was a variable change, then sure you may squeeze a few extra MP here and there, but it normalizes (Averages) around 12 MP meaning you'll gain some, and you'll lose some. As example: For my pirate when i add points into HP/MP, I get a few 18s, and a few 20s. When i did 30 washes on it and divived total HP gained / 30 resets, it came out to be 18.9999999967 or something like that. tl;dr: This idea is a waste of money. Mass hp washing technique - Shidoshi - 2009-02-20 The idea is that INT affects the MP you gain by putting points in MP too. That way you will put 5 points gaining some MP above average and then reset them out without the INT equips so it takes out less than what you put in. Mass hp washing technique - Russt - 2009-02-20 90 HP per 5 APs = 18 HP per AP. According to the reference, it's 16-20, minimum of 16 and average of 18. Sounds right to me. If you DONT LVL UP. then you buy resets and take out luk for example and put into hp, you get only 16. It is a fixed amount. Mass hp washing technique - Tamillan - 2009-02-21 Here is how it works. With a 140int gear you gain 20mp per point. you will gain atleast 20mp lvling up too. so thats 120 mp per lvl. however when we use 10*12=120mp to hp wash. it cancels out what we gain. So basically we can wash up till 200 without any problem assuming we have the nx. LOL this is just crazy. 120-200 takes out like 2.5million nx. Mass hp washing technique - RoxStarz - 2009-02-21 Tamillon, could you give us some proof. Your explanation doesn't match others I have received. As I said before, I always got 18 hp per A.P. on lvl up. I have never bought an AP reset and taken point out and put in HP to see what it gives, but from what I have read it gives 8 or 9 hp, not 16. Have you tried this technique yourself? If not, who has tried it that you are getting your information from so that we can verify it befoe spending NX on it ourselves? I'm very sure it gives 16. Many people who have tried it told me so. You can always test it out by buying an ap reset and taking a point of LUK for example and try putting it on hp. it wil show it gives +16. then you press cancel. and you wont waste your ap reset. you can always use it another time within the 3 months. |
