    • Use the Tab and then Number keys to switch between Champions.

  • Champion Coins reset on the 1st of each month at 12:00 AM UTC and do not carry over to the next month. Make sure to claim and spend them before reset!
Hazards
  • Be careful out there, as some enemies and map elements inflict dangerous status effects and apply Hazard stacks!
    • When you reach 5 Hazard stacks, a powerful status effect will be applied.
  • Continuous damage from Hazard stacks will not reduce your HP below 1.
    • Hazard stacks will not be removed upon revival.
  • You can remove Hazard stacks by interacting with the Refreshing Fruit scattered around the island.

Raid Completion

  • Access the Champion Protection UI from the Beginner Skill tab and double click on the Champion’s Renown skill.

  • The goal is to hunt fish, collect fillets, and return to the surface safely before oxygen or time runs out! You’ll have 60 minutes for each dive.
  • A Blue Hole Exploration can end in either success or failure, depending on how you finish the dive:
    • A dive is successful when:
      • Swim back up to the surface
      • Use an Escape Pod
      • Use the Emergency Pager
    • A dive fails when:
      • Your oxygen runs out
      • The 60-minute time limit runs out
      • You choose “Return to Boat” after giving up
  • If the dive fails, you’ll lose everything you collected during that attempt.

  • Use a Harpoon to reel in certain fish and collect fillets through a mini-game.
    • When a Harpoon hits a small fish and its remaining HP is between 1x and 2x the Harpoon’s damage, it enters “Pulling” status and a mini-game is triggered.

    • The exploration time temporarily pauses during the mini-game.
    • If another fish hits you before the mini-game starts, the Harpoon automatically retracts and the attempt fails.
    • Harpoons do not pierce certain enemies like jellyfish and sharks. Instead they’ll bounce off and only deal damage.
      • Exception: The Cookiecutter Shark can enter “Pulling” status.
    • Want to see what you’ve caught during your dive? Press ~ to open the Fish PDA and view all fish caught and fillets collected so far.
      • The exploration time temporarily pauses when this is open.

Exploration Systems

There are several factors that impact the overall results of an exploration to keep in mind. These include oxygen, depth limit, weight, and movement speed, which can all be upgraded through the iDiver app on the Smartphone.
  • Oxygen
    • The Oxygen Gauge is located at the bottom left of the screen.
    • Oxygen continuously decreases during a dive, however, it depletes faster when you:
      • Hold ‘Shift’ to swim faster
      • Take damage from fish attacks
    • Upgrade the Air Tank to increase the maximum starting oxygen.
[Image: oxygen-depth-weight-info-dave-the-diver-...height=282]
  • Depth Limit
    • You can only explore to a specific depth based on the Diving Suit level.
    • Stronger fish live in deeper areas and have better rewards when defeated.
    • Upgrade the Diving Suit to increase the maximum depth limit that can be explored.
  • Weight (Inventory)
    • Collected ingredients add weight (kg) to the diver’s inventory
    • Your movement speed decreases when you reach or exceed the maximum weight limit.
      • A weight icon will appear above your head.
    • Items can be discarded manually in the inventory.
    • Upgrade the Waterproof Box to increase the maximum weight.
[Image: diving-inventory-dave-the-diver-maplestory.png]
  • Movement Speed
    • Swim speed is determined by the level of the diver’s fins.
    • Upgrade fins to increase the maximum movement speed.
