As someone who's continued playing MapleStory all along, I don't see myself going back to moving at a snail's pace (and being knocked back by snails, at that!), or having to kill enemies one by one (and multiple attacks for each, too). Or paying a year's meso income for a mastery book that can fail.

My hope is that this version maintains a consistent enough playerbase that it's enjoyable to just hop on every now and then without having to grind to feel like you're in the loop. Having dabbled in Other Forms of the Game, I find that there's such a massive skew towards endgame that there ends up not being much to do in the early levels, and nobody's really around to do stuff with.
I'd bet half of you guys replying here, myself included, have way more important priorities in your life than playing mushroom game. For me personally, I'd love to hop on at launch and do all the stuff I used to do in 2005, but I know I can't dedicate half my life to this game. I know I'm going to be level 30-40 for like... months. It would be great if I could spend a weekend grinding, disappear for weeks at a time, then log in again and know that at least some of the people on my buddy list are still going to be playing lol.
