How the pineapple do you dodge Bains? - randompeep - 2009-01-20 I'm planning to do my Zak Pre-quests soon. (not for zhelm buying... yet ) But this is the only thing in my way. They don't appear to be a thing you can jump over, and the last Cave of Trial has a flat area with the Bains walking over it, and no platforms over it.Oh, and Dead Mine Scrolls don't solve this, obviously. Other methods include VIP teleport rocks, getting a priest to door you up there, or a spearman to HB you through, or bringing a high enough level friend to kill any bains in your path for you. And yea, what Deviant said is about it as far as getting through them. I could survive when my crusader was a 5x/6x fighter. Your best bet is to find a priest/bishop who would be willing to (or try and find a zrun forming in El Nath and see if they'd be nice enough to door you to the altar real quick). Get them to lure those things out of the way for you, that's all I can think of at the moment that's the most 'convenient'. (At least for me if I were in your general situation.) My connection is iffy at times, so I don't really want to do that every time I want to go to Bains, since I only have 9 or 10 of them. I'd rather save them for ZJQ. By the time I'm 6x, emergency rescue tube will probably be it. Or as Deviant pointed out, get a friend to help you kill the Bains in the path. |
