For a short time, three of the mercenaries will even labor for you if you can gather the correct commission items. Scavenge your way through Altera’s dungeons and find the items a specific merc will work for, and they’ll be yours! Trade with other adventurers to obtain the items you need in order to hire on a mercenary.
