I am wondering if its possible to use the name of a previous character that had the name removed, and I am also wondering if name changes work on off ranking accounts.

1) Only if you delete the character with the name changed to something else.
2) Off-ranked accounts will not, as far as I know, be able to name-change.

If you do the name change, the name that you had PREVIOUSLY, will never be used again.

I actually think you can change back to your original ign..
CungTenThan was CungTenThan like ages ago when he was 10x, and then he became 13owking or something, then CungTenThann, then Nhin, and now he's CungTenThan again so...yeah O_o
As for off ranks, though they say you cant change, you actually can.
Examples: xuanlovesyu (first off rank 200) changed to lyui and ninjakasu changed to kaisukix

Not possible. I tried changing back my IGN to MisterMudkip today. It's been 4 months since I name changed so yeah. It won't allow MIsterMudkip for me.

It'd have been better "proof" if he didnt constantly get banned on sw for multiples for various reasons (though I think he's been banned so often they stopped caring and left Quetoi unbanned)
I just know all this cause a friend of mine talks about him quite a bit and keeps telling me when he changes his ign, lol >_> That and I find it funny how he keeps changing it for no apparent reason. Seriously, he's had more name changes than Ive had hair changes, lol.

No. I tried adding MisterMudkip on every server. Right after the server check for my IGN, I tried reserving MisterMudkip (AKA 1 hour after the server check). It said it was used.

Lolwut?!?!?! Uh, I mean.. I see I have fans -joke-. The name Kasu is so overused in Japanese these days. <_<; But seriously, I didn't know you could name-change back to an IGN that you changed previously on the same character... o.o Cool.

If your character currently has a name, you may delete the character and reuse the name. If you namechange, the name that is gone can never be used again, even if you delete the character. To the best of my knowledge, people with a disciplinary history CAN buy namechanges, but as I recall they cannot buy server changes.

I JUST FOUND OUT SOMETHING.
Lets say IGNs are A, B, and C
If you had IGN A in the beginning, then changed to IGN B, you cannot ever change to IGN A, UNLESS, you change your IGN to IGN C, then IGN A is up for grabs again.
I figured this out just yesterday night.

Im curious if you can steal other people's igns in the same manner (if they double change it, that is)

Are you serious? A name which I like a lot is currently "A" so if that's true that's big news for me.
Please tell me if you're just joking though, I don't want to waste money on namechanges. >.<
