What will be unavailable:
  • All MapleStory game servers.
Changes and Updates:
  • Back end modifications and updates will be made to the servers.
  • Various text issues with the NPC Heracle and Guild tutorial have been fixed.
  • Attempting to start the quest [A Guardian's Blessing] through the event Notifier or talking to NPC Arby will no longer cause the chat window to appear.
  • The Kritias option that would cause a crash has been removed from the list of choices from Promessa in Veritas.
  • The NPC Randolf is no longer selling [Mastery Book] Mystery Mastery Book.
  • The Boss Monster drop rate for the 'Saturn Chair' has been slightly increased.
  • The Secret Box drop rate for the 'Neptune Chair' has been slightly increased.

Depends on how much slightly it does increase. I still haven't gotten a Saturn Chair to drop, and I'm hunting bosses daily like most people.

I was almost about to do my bosses before the SC but I'll wait since they say the rate is increasing. I'm killing about 15 bosses on that list a day and still nothing. Though I can't say I care for the word slightly...

My past two days of hunting looked like:
20 Toadboss, 2 Hilla, 4 RA, 1 VL, 2 Krexel, 1 PB on 2.25x -> NOTHING (ok I actually got a Mercury chair - fucking thanks, just what I always wanted)
15 Toadboss, 2 Hilla, 4 RA, 1 VL, 2 Krexel, 1 HT, 1 Ark on 2.8x -> NOTHING

Prior to that I've just been doing daily Hilla/RA/VL/Krexel. I'm wasting a bunch of time bossing when I need to be farming coins for my other needs. Hopefully this is the break we need.
