Constants and what? The only thing that kind of bugs me is that there aren't any references to the old plasmids, only the new vigors. Retcon, sure, maybe they're variables.

The Audio Log in the one of the clothes shops at the start of the DLC has Yi Suchong mentioning that somebody got wind of his experimentation into Plasmids and tried to steal his thunder, and thus he developed a way to make Plasmids be digestible in the stomach, hence Vigours.

Ok, I just finished the DLC.

Spoilers regarding the plasmids as vigours, and the end of the DLC

Something weird that I noticed is that in Rapture, there are tears where you can take things from Columbia, like Freight Hooks and Motorized Patriots, but there are also SAMURAI which seem to come from a different place entirely.
There was also a random NPC who mentioned a third city.

I wonder if that is a hint towards the next game? a Japanese/Feudal era Bioshock?

also the Radar Range is the most OP weapon EVER. I love it.

After Burialatsea!Booker accidently caused the death of Anna (by horrible, horrible decapitation, ouch!) he researched an alternate world that he could go to, one where Anna never existed, and he found Rapture. The opening of the tears in the universe was noticed by Suchong, who through the tears saw a world where Fink stole his thunder regarding the Plasmids. because of this, he strived to create Vigours. That is why this Rapture is slightly different to the previous Rapture, because of Comstock messing around with the Tears.

I don't get her motivation, why did she follow Booker all that way, and help him along the way, just to betray him at that moment? Was it all just for revenge?

Yeah, I agree, Elizabeth was strangely dark in this one.

I'm fairly sure she is the exact same Elizabeth from Bioshock Infinite's timeline, only older and more wary after travelling through other timelines and universes. I think this because she notices the "Air Grabber" that Booker finds and calls it a skyhook, and then talking about constants and variables. she also has the brooch that you selected for her early in the main campaign (the bird or the cage)

Whether she is or she isn't, i'm certain that the second part will explain her actions, and since we are seeing things from Elizabeth's perspective now, we might get an even bigger view of the Bioshock universe, and possibly more hints as to the next game..

I found part 1 to be pretty fun, but I have much higher expectations for part 2, story and gameplay wise.

Yeah, I'm expecting things to go much deeper. Still, I miss the innocent Elizabeth from Infinite Sad
