A lot of other free MMORPGs that I've played have items like this.
The Cash Shop affected gameplay as soon as pets came out, since they loot for you.

If you don't like the idea of people with money gaining even more of an advantage over non-cash users, don't play.

What's so different from buying that compared to buying a gach ticket and getting an elemental staff or buying cards and making stuff like FS? Nexon have pretty much covered themselves with the MTS anyway. Since they can just argue that everyone can get NX now. Well unless youre in Demethos.

At KMS, I'm not sure, but there's a ring like that, that gives +1 to all stats, but it's tradeable and it has 7 slots. However, that ring doesn't says anything that "Tradeable" or "7 Slots".
Also, the other ring has a different picture. o_O

I remember some people making a fake thing on sleepywood in the screenshots section. They estimated how maple would be like in 2010, and one of the things they added in, was exp gachapon

They are different things. KMS also has 3 versions of the aura ring with different expiry dates

I think people are more outraged at the idea than the actual item; +1 to all stats might be nothing, but it opens the door to cs items that add even more stats such as say 5 attack or 10 of all stats or something.

It's the principle of the thing. Once Nexon has established that there are stat-boosting CS items, there's really nothing to prevent Devil's "Maple Equilibrium Pendant".
I mean, where do you draw the line? Where does it become "that big of a deal"?
A weapon cover that adds 1 w.att? 2? 10? 50? 100?
Glasses that add +1 INT? 2? 10? 50? 100?
That said, I also agree with those who say CS already affects gameplay. Pets that loot for you and feed you potions? I predict that soon we will have pets that are able to renew your buffs if they expire or are dispelled.
