Introduction
Hi, my name is Matt and i am 17 years old. I have been playing Maplestory for almost 7 years and i made this guide because i want to help others.
Personally, i only made more than a half of this quests and haven't EVER fight Magnus.
This guide is made by gathering information of the internet.

Magnus
Magnus is one of the Black Mage Commanders. He has made himself the toughest boss in Maplestory.
Story
It is say that Magnus was to be part of Pantheon city, but was exiled for abusing his powers.
He assisted Darmoor and took control of Helisium City to raise an army and attack Grandis.
In Kaiser's storyline it is say that Kaiser tries to stop Magnus sacrificing himself and destroying his army, weakening Magnus, who fleed away.
In the present, Magnus is still in Helisium and resides in the Tyrant's Castle.

There are 2 types of Magnus, Normal mode and Hard Mode:

To Pantheon
Go to Pantheon and talk to Beldar
Supporting Heliseum Reclamation HQ
Talk to Beldar again and he will tell you to go see Tiron located at

Heliseum Reclamation HQ in Danger
Talk to Tiron again, he will warp you to a zone where you need to kill all the monsters.
Edea and Piston
Head to Heliseum Reclamation HQ and talk to Edea, she will tell you to talk to Piston.

Talk to Piston again and he will tell you to kill some monster and get their drops.
Head over to Twisted Forest: Savage Dog Forest and get:

Head back to Helisum and talk to Edea.
You will be moved to a blattle area where you will need to kill all

After you have kill them all, return to Edea.
Sturdy Foundation
Talk to Edea again and head over to Heliseum Reclamation HQ and talk to Harpoon
Finding Emergency Supplies
Talk to Harpoon again.
Head over Nameless Forest: Path to the Hill and kill monster there to obtain
50x Dinogoth Shoulder Meat
Head back to Harpoon.
Pantheon
Go talk to Beldar.
Savior of Pantheon
Do this 2 following missions.
Selene's Request
Go talk to Selene at Nova's Sanctum: Pantheon.
Head over Nameless Forest: Path to the Hill and kill monster there to obtain
50x Dinogoth Tail
Christina's Request
Go talk to Christina at Pantheon Sanctum: South Sanctum.
Head over Twisted Forest: Blue Speeyor and kill monsters there to obtain
50x Blue Speeyor Torn Fur Coat
and give the items to Beldar.
Savior of Pantheon
Talk to Beldar and complete the quest.
Second Dispatch
Give the letter given by Beldar to Edea.
Head over to Eurenth's cabin and talk to Eurenth.
Anger Management
Talk to Eurenth again.
He will ask you to head over Forbidden Forest: Twisted Forest Border and get

Eurenth on the Rocks
Talk to Eurenth again.

Talk to Romeo again.
Head over to Forbidden Forest: Twisted Forest Border and kill monsters there to obtain

Check the transmitter.
Head over to Forbidden Forest: Secret Merchant Meet-Up.
