Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea is a hand-drawn animated film by the Japanese anime studio Studio Ghibli, to be written and directed by famed anime filmmaker Hayao Miyazaki. It will be Miyazaki's eighth film to be made under Ghibli.
It is scheduled to be released on July 19, 2008.

I really liked his movies with all the fantasy, a little power struggle, a few drops of blood, and some real suspense. I don't really think that a movie with the main characters a fish and a 5 year old will be able to have that... emotional pull his older works had.
Still, I want to see this movie.
