For a short period of time, Miracle Cubes are much more effective. The chance that any Miracle Cube increases your equipments Potential Tier is significantly higher than usual.

What's the Potential System?

A potential is a special type of bonus attribute on a piece of equipment. You will occasionally find equipment with unidentified bonus attributes; these equips will have a label on them saying "Hidden Potential Item." You need Magnifying Glasses, which can be purchased from store NPCs, to identify the potential on those items. Tiers include: Rare, Epic, Unique, and Legendary, with Legendary being the most powerful. Higher tiered items will have better potential powers.

You can only get items with hidden potential on them as drops from monsters or if you transform them yourself using a Potential Scroll or Tim's Secret Lab. If items with potential are fused, the resulting item will also contain potential.

Read about Premium Miracle Cubes, which have a chance grant an extra line of Potential.
Read about Super Miracle Cubes, which lets you upgrade items to the Legendary tier!
Read about Revolutionary Miracle Cubes, which can add a Potential line to Legendary items!
Read about Enlightening Miracle Cubes, which have the best chance to upgrade 2nd and 3rd Potential lines to the highest grade for your equip's current tier!!

Lol, it's funny. KMS just had this yesterday. Except ours was 2x the chances (and it really helped alot. Only ~7 Enlightening cubes got my sword from rare to unique).
And at least you guys got an advanced notice. We didn't even get time to prepare.
