In the neverending effort to improve litteracy, the foundations of this thread were formed. If you have an idea, subject or genre that you would like to see fleshed out, try putting it here. With enough luck, someone might take that thought and develop it into a full blown story.

Step 1.- Plan everything up, don't make up the mechanics and story as it goes on, at least plan most aspects ahead of time.
Step 2.- Do something interesting.

Develop a story only thinking on it's beginning and start evolving it. Don't even consider a story where you know how it starts and how it ends, but you have no idea on what happens in the middle. Don't think about the end until you have done everything.

What about doing something based off of Maplestory? This is a Maple forum after all but it would still need to be about a different subject too.

I'm pretty sure someone could easily right a story lightly based off of Maple; at least I know I could with all the different people I've met-- the drama, unforseen friendship and allies, etc., and incorporate settings like Leafre, NLC, and Henesys...heck, a majority of the places are pretty reasonable for a setting.
