I'm aware. You didn't use it on the second head when it would have cooled down by the time you got to the heads on the body.
If you rush, you get OUT of the delay zone.

Because it makes such a big difference where he attacks.
He's out of the delay zone, and the range of Brave Slash reaches Horntail's pre-head and that's all that fucking matters.

He missed several slashes because he was too far away. I guess landing attacks doesn't matter when bossing, though.

Here's his bow though, 194 attack, 60% boss damage, 30% ignore defense. It's an old pic though, from the end of September. He might have gotten another two stars with Protect Shields, I haven't asked him.
