I'm pretty sure that the shop in Crimsonwood is one way...meaning you can't sell to the dude or do anything.

Nope, tried showa, cwk, nlc, vic and they didnt work. I'm guessing they aren't rechargable yet.

Didn't Crystal Ilbi stars have the same problem when they first came out? I believe it took a patch or two for them to actually be rechargeable, and then they could be recharged in any shop just like all the other stars. I bet this will be the same; wait for next patch if you want to recharge your 2-billion-meso throwing stars.

since a thread asked this, i felt like responding and letting everyone know. I didnt see this posted anywhere on SP, someone mentioned it in SW and i deceided to check it out. Fury Stars are rechargeable, but only in weapons shop in NLC.

they might be rechargeable at random shops other places. It doesnt make sense, in a logic or programming sense(though im no expert) why they would be rechargeable at 1 shop. I would have figured it to be all or none. Otherwise, it seems like they'd have to go through and every shop and say "rechargeable" or w/e.
there may be like different groups of shops. so it may be rechargeable elsewhere.

They look pretty awesome, but I still think the dragon stars are the coolest.
