Is tornado spin a skill actually worth maxing? During my levels 55-70 I only put 1 SP in every skill (besides flashbang) and only put 10 SP into Flash Jump. This gave me loads of SP to use when I leveled to 70, enabling me to use my skill books from the event that expire in two days, getting Flying Assaulter and Mirror Image. And I noticed I have a skillbook for Tornado Spin that also expires in two days, but I don't find TS very useful.
Am I wrong in seeing TS as useless? I have 10 SP that I didn't spend yet and I was curious as to if I should use them in TS. I also have an SP reset scroll if I really messed up..
Any advice with III/III+ job?

You either max TSpin or Upper Stab in III. Save all the other points. I maxed Tspin, but regret it, there isn't much use for it yet, and I'm level 88. Max Upper Stab then save your points so you can max Bloody Storm, get 11 FA and put some into Mirror Image as soon as you advance at level 70.
I know this is Basilmarket, but it's the best and most clear guide for Dual Blade SP that I could find and have been using it myself.

Edit: and I have 10 Mirror Image, 10 Bloody Storm, 5 FA, 5 CoH, 1 Tornado Spin, 10 Flash Jump, and 1 Upper Stab (and 10 SP left to use- I'm lv 72 ATM)

I personally find TS to be pretty useful because of its mobbing capabilities. Its a part of the fatsus combo and when maxed can be used after a FA just by pressing ur attack button. It allows me to gather mobs while rotating around maps.

max TS with level 10 FA is amazing. it has a tiny "glitch" where if you press the attack button when you land the FA, it'll automatically TS for you, which gathers HUGE mobs while doing damage too. And i you don't kill all the mobs with that, you Upper stab the hell out of them. It's faster than hitting them with another BS or whatever or a fatal stab. TS is crazy amazing for mobility and it rushes monsters in a general direction over bloody storm, which just moves through them.
But yeah, level and pass the free books before they expire.

That's a glitch, don't use it or you'll get ban.

it's no glitch, it says so on the skill itself o.O a glitch is the "floating DB invincibility" combo.

Anyway, YES, max tornado spin. Max TS (only max lvl) allows you to chain it with Flying Assaulter lvl10 and up. It almost doubles the rush range, making DB's the masters of mobbing in Maple, oh and while you're doing this amazing combo, did I meantion you have godmode?
So yes, max Tornado Spin -and- Upper Stab, you can even use 3rd job SP's for it.
The DB combo is:
Flying Assaulter > Normal Attack (activates TS) > Spam Upper Stab till every monster is dead

I like BS over TS, but I use both.
TS is better for grouping mobs.
After 120, US is useless.

I was thinking of skipping on maxing US. I feel that Bloody Storm would suffice for the most part. Especially with Mirror Image.

It's only really useful when you have 10+ FA
And since it's free mastery books with 100% rate, just use it to get it to 6 then leave it until later on
