CONTEST ENTRY [from another forum] WAHAHA - Haseo - 2011-04-24 http://forums.asiasoftsea.net/showpost.php?p=13310689&postcount=288 Still can't get the smoke effect down right. Meh, whatever. Thought I'd link to it to show you guys. >w> CONTEST ENTRY [from another forum] WAHAHA - Sn1perJohnE - 2011-04-24 http://www.noscope.com/journal/2007/05/photoshop-howto-smoke http://www.photoshopatoms.com/effects/creating-a-smoke-effect-in-photoshop-cs5/ First i Stumbled on, second is from googling smoke effect photoshop. Pretty good, but my only concern would be the positioning of the two background characters. Im not sure which, but they way they are set is a bit awkward. You will want to set their distribution based on their heads, since they are basically back to back with each other. I would also look into a glow effect on the blue part on the bottom, as well as picking a font that stands out more for the text on the bottom, and maybe making the text at the top sharper. Good luck in the contest! CONTEST ENTRY [from another forum] WAHAHA - Haseo - 2011-04-24 Eh, I didn't mean for them to be back-to-back. It's like those posters where you have characters from different angles and distances placed in the same shape. That's why the Mech's head looks a little off, I deliberately left it a bit larger for that effect. Thanks for the links and the luck though. Also, which blue part, you mean the one just below the Big Bang logo? |
