It's sounds pro-abortion (or, anti-anti-abortion) to me, the way I see it, they're saying that even though a fetus can become a full grown person, like a seed can become a mature plant, that doesn't make the fetus a person.

I read this as, although a seed may devolop into a tree, it's not a gurrantee. When you see a pile of acorns, how many trees sprout out from that? Not many. They are used for other purposes, mainly food. So giving an acorn's future tree life for another animal in order to live, is imo his argument that a fetus' can be used too save another childs life.

What? Acorns have all the DNA of a tree, where else would it come from?
Yeah, the acorn doesn't turn into a tree, the tree grows out of it, but people don't turn into hair or vice versa.
pretty pointless argument since it's just semantics, but this thread doesn't really have a direction anyways.
