Unscheduled Server maintenance 10/3 - IsaacGS - 2008-10-03
MapleStory will be going through an unscheduled server maintenance today, October 3, 2008.
This involves the game servers and will last for approximately 30 minutes.
<MapleStory Server Maintenance>
Scania - Channel 12, 13
Broa - Channel 12, 13
Khaini - Channel 12, 13
Bellocan - Channel 12, 13
Mardia - Channel 1, 12
Kradia - Channel 1, 12
Yellonde - Channel 1, 12
- Time : Friday, October 3rd, 1:30 pm ~ 2:00 pm PDT
The other servers, channels and website will be available during the server check.

That's what I thought. However, I was on Ch 14 and then I suddenly got kicked off.
I tried logging in using the guest login and can't log in any channels on Scania.

I guess you're referring to this one;

There were problems which disallowed creating, or deleting characters (and purchasing Cash Shop items with Maple Points).
Update 1:
This server maintenance seems to be extended as well:
