100% critical nl dpm? - serulin - 2011-03-01
I was thinking of getting critical equips to make me crit 100% of the time on a nl. How would this compare to other classes dam? I know crits have been nerfed, but is it worth it? And has this been factored in while calculating dpm?
Also
1. SE still raises my avenger's dam by like 20k~ but ppl make it sound like crap now. Is it that bad?
2. Does thorns + se stack currently? (se raising max crit dam while thorns raising max min dam?)

You can only get Critical on the weapon, So unless you are gonna sacrifice 30% boss damage and/or 15/30% PDR Ignore (Which are better than some lousy 9% critical) then go ahead.
Also After Chaos Thorns stop being a Party buff to be a Self-Buff For DB, but i don't think it stack with SE.

Let's pretend 10% from a critical ring
That brings you to 65% crit. You need 35% more.
If you have self SE that's 10%. But let's pretend you're a bowman's peach so you can claim a full 20% from regular SE.
You still need 15% crit. You could probably get 8% 8% on your claw but as dante said you'd be sacrificing damage from better potential stats. Not to mention you're probably not gunna be around a bowman that often for the full 20% SE.

If there's a 95% cap on avoidability i would assume there is a similar cap on crit rate, and i remember claims of said cap existing, but i've never seen proof of it actually applied.

Actually i have a bowman mule i train with all the time. And while bossing there is usually always a bowman there as well. So i do factor in that I already have 80% crit rate. While i dont want to sacrifice damage i dont neccesarily need perfect 100% either. even 90 or 95 would probably be enough to see sexy red numbers all the time. So maybe instead of sacirficing 2 % crits maybe just one line for % crit and the rest for damage.

Good luck finding those. But no mather what critical in your weapon should take the lowest priority.

After Chaos, Thorns is +30 weapon attack and 90% stance. No more criticals.

Pretty sure crit rate doesn't have a limit.
Edit: Nvm, can't post a SS. I cubed over my %crit stuff. lol.
Still sure there isn't a crit limit, someone in the forums said they had 98% crit with SE before.

It's a party buff. All buffs from the skill are party buffs if the party members are within a certain vicinity of the Wild Hunter.
