...That HackShield is to blame for the mass graphics crashes.
Okay, so everyone knows that most, if not all, Windows Vista and 7 users have a ton of problems with graphics being screwed up and crashing the game, right? Well... I don't think it's just Maple's incapatibility with the operating systems that's the cause.
I've had a lot of weird things happen in JMS lately, like only parts of windows becoming transparent, weird, flickering graphics errors, and a lot of weird things that usually end up with the client crashing within the next 5 minutes.
Then I noticed something... Every single time I crash due to a graphics error, I get a "MyKeyDefense" error with Hackshield. At first, I thought it was due to XFire. I thought the security was increased and maybe XFire was picked up now. However, I turned off every single program I could without interfering with Windows processes, but I still get the same error.
After playing JMST after Big Bang, I get a LOT of graphics errors now, but absolutely NO CRASHES. JMST doesn't use HackShield at all, so this is really getting suspicious. I'm having windows disappear, background images disappear, graphics flickering, and the works. Not ONCE has this client crashed due to any errors, but any client with HackShield crashes almost immediately after I start having these graphics errors.
I really think HackShield is a huge part of the problem.

I guess HS is trying to scan MapleStory's memory for any editing and on the fault section which wasn't compatible to Vista/W7 it crashed. I can conclude this mainly because it does happen in private server without HackShield too.
