Fever, and now Chest Pain - Hazzy - 2008-09-06 Last night, my throught was sore. As the night progressed, I became colder and colder. I went to sleep, woke up, went to get the thermanator and found my temp. to be 101.7. I'm pretty sure that's bad. Took some Tylonal, threw up right after that, then went to bed. Now I'm here, the next morning, with less, if any, of a fever, but my chest really hurts. Not "kill me now" hurts, but it's more of a throubbing pain. Keys are sounding louder than normal as well. D: Anyone know what's wrong? Also, I didn't cough at all yesterday. :/ Excuse my typos. Fever, and now Chest Pain - Cyadd - 2008-09-06 Using my extensive doctoring skills, I'd say that.... you go to a doctor. Fever, and now Chest Pain - Hazzy - 2008-09-06 Just measured, I have a temp of 99.7 atm. :x Fever, and now Chest Pain - Ardinea - 2008-09-06 I second the "going to a doctor" motion. When you breathe in deeply, do you feel a bubbling sensation in your lungs? Fever, and now Chest Pain - Hazzy - 2008-09-06 Nope. o_o Chest pain's fine if I lay on the couch. When I get up and walk around, it starts to hurt. Even when I lay back down, it'll be sore for a while. :x Fever, and now Chest Pain - Venison! - 2008-09-06 PNEUMONIA! (not really...well, maybe, but I'm not a med student, I'm an engineer!) Seriously though, go to your doctor (or a doctor if you're like me and don't have your own) and get checked out...that's the only way of knowing for sure! Good luck. Fever, and now Chest Pain - pandapple - 2008-09-06 do you have like..asthma? maybe you just have a normal cold lmfao. idk i suck at doctor stuff. Fever, and now Chest Pain - Hazzy - 2008-09-06 No Asthma. No snot. No caughing(sp? ._.) My mom doesn't want to call the doctor's. Says they don't work on Saturdays. Fever, and now Chest Pain - pandapple - 2008-09-06 Hazzy Wrote:No Asthma. No snot. No caughing(sp? ._.) emergency room? O: Fever, and now Chest Pain - JoeTang - 2008-09-06 Influenza. Fever, and now Chest Pain - Blankout - 2008-09-06 About the chest pain: is it like a muscle kind of pain or an inside-your-ribs kind of pain? Fever, and now Chest Pain - Mira - 2008-09-06 If it gets worse, go to the ER for sure. But if you don't want to wait till it gets worse, go now. :/ Fever, and now Chest Pain - Katie - 2008-09-06 Doctors offices have to have on call doctors. Make her call them. The chest issue almost sounds like a muscle ache of some sort due to the fever/vomiting. Call the on-call doctor. Fever, and now Chest Pain - JoeTang - 2008-09-06 Nevermind the influenza, didn't see that you weren't coughing. Any other symptoms? When you try to force a cough, what happens? What type of chest pain is it? Where does it feel like it is in pain? How bad is the pain? Fever, and now Chest Pain - Hazzy - 2008-09-06 The pain is in the middle of my chest, like right behind the breast bone. My fever's been dropping - was 99.7 or so this morning, now it's 99.2. If I lay down, it's fine, but getting up and walking around causes it to start. It doesn't just vanish when I lay down, rather it goes away after a few minutes. I can force a cough just like any other day. No pain, no sounds, no stuff in my throught. It's just like any other day. :x Fever, and now Chest Pain - Lylac - 2008-09-06 None of us can tell you what it is. A doctor has to listen to your chest, throat, and blood pressure to see what it is. Go to a doctor. It could be pneumonia, bronchitis, pleurisy, or a bunch of other things. Fever, and now Chest Pain - Hazzy - 2008-09-06 Don't those all have caughing though? o_o Fever, and now Chest Pain - Lylac - 2008-09-06 What symptoms you get and when they occur can always vary. Fever, and now Chest Pain - JezzaRules - 2008-09-15 When I first saw this, the first thing that came into my mind is Heart Attack :f6:. But then I reckon you got the flu after reading your symptoms carefully. If it is flu then I recommend you to take it easy and try to keep warm. Oh and another thing, you measure temperature in Fahrenheit? (if it was 107 Celsius, you're practically overboiled) EDIT: Oh Snap! I'm so sorry for replying to an old thread >.< Fever, and now Chest Pain - NoWaizMatt - 2008-09-15 Streptococcus (SP) Sounds like flu or strep. I had it two years in a row, same symptoms. Not fun at all. |
