My Maple 'name an event entry' - ZottenKerel - 2010-09-24

I looked all over the forums, but can't really find an appropriate palce to put this, so mods please mvoe it if you feel it's necessary.

So anyway, I saw there was an event to name the new event. I knew everyone would just enter Big Bang, or some dictionary word, so I thought of something else. After about 10mins of pondering I came up with 'A New Leaf'. I thought about making it 'Turning a New Leaf', but I felt it covered most of the load as it was.
Jokingly I told everyone to look out for my entry and to vote for me.

Now imagine my jawdrop as I noticed my entry was actually up there on the top 5.
So I guess all I wanna say is, I'm pretty happy Nexon saw the originality and got the message, sadly the players are just to fixed on the term 'Big Bang' to let it go. I think it's a shame, mainly because my entry probably won't win, but if you haven't entered yet and like my entry, please go to the site and give me your vote.

Not trying to dissapoint you but, the entries were the ones that were submited the most, not the best ones :/

Lol I doubt it, really. They had some hand in saying which should make the 5 and which shouldn't. Otherwise 'boobies' would be in the top5 as well.

If the term 'revamp' that was being used at the beginning had made it and big bang had gone out of the picture, 54% of the votes would now have been for Revamp. That's what I meant, though I'm sure you got that, tho you're a fanboy of Big Bang. =P No offence, though, everyone their opinion.

Big Bang is much more epic sounding of a name than anything else on the list. Maplestory: Evolution, Revolution, and Rebirth are all pretty standard names for game overhauls. A New Leaf is just kind of a pun, and might work if masteria didn't already have New Leaf City.
