It's running a startup repair right now. Hopefully it'll work.... If it does, I have a question. If the driver was causing the problem, then obviously I can't have it....but don't I need the driver? Most likely because it just put it right back to the way it was. While you need a video card driver you might not need the one you're trying to use, or you might be trying to use the one you've installed with settings that your monitor or system can not actually support/handle. And for a monitor you almost never need a specialized driver. The standard monitor driver that comes with windows is usually enough for anything, especially if you've got problems like this trying to use the custom one. When you've removed it, install the default vga drivers over it before trying to boot back in normally. That should give you the horrible resolution but your full normal environment to work in and try to set it up right. I restarted the computer and a blue screen popped up. I didn't have enough time to read it add but it seemed bad. It then restarted and now wants to do a startup repair. EDIT: I no longer get the black screen. Hurray. Unfortunately the resolution is crap and the video card isn't really doing it's thing. I want to get the driver for it, but I'm thinking it'll probably cause problems. Not really sure what to do now.
