George Parks is dead - Kabanaw - 2010-09-17
I don't know how many of you know who he is, and for those of you who don't, he's the UMass Amherst marching band director. At least in the north east, every band kid knew who he was. He died last night of a sudden heart attack. I don't have any news story of this because I heard it by word of mouth from my friends in the UMass band.

Have you been to DMA before? I went to MPS this summer.
It's strange, though. I didn't really see Parks for long, but for the amount of time I did see him, he was full of energy.
