Justin's Birthday Wishlist - Link - 2010-07-23 I need help thinking up some stuff to ask for my birthday (since my dad insists I make a list...). I really cannot think of anything. Note : I don't think anything for the computer will do me any good, since the only computer I have is a very, very pomegranatety laptop for gaming. xd I also only have a Wii, so XBox and PS3 are out of the window, as well as any hand held systems besides a Nintendo DS (which I can get any game for anyway for free). So far, I have : -Wii Motion Plus -Red Steel 2 -Another copy of Legend of Zelda : Wind Waker (since an old friend of mine ran off with my old copy >_>) -Dragon Ball Z Budoukai Tenkaichi 3 -Super Mario Galaxy 2 Justin's Birthday Wishlist - TKWizard - 2010-07-23 Add StarCraft II to that list
Justin's Birthday Wishlist - Felicitates - 2010-07-23 A new laptop and candy c: Justin's Birthday Wishlist - Link - 2010-07-23 TKWizard Wrote:Add StarCraft II to that list I would, but I've never even played the original Star Craft. Honestly, I don't even know what Star Craft is really about. I've watched it before, but I've never played it for myself, so I'm quite out of the loop with what Star Craft really is. lol @Above : I've asked for a new computer before, but with my family's money situation, anything better than what I have is too much to afford. :S Justin's Birthday Wishlist - Fiel - 2010-07-23 Ah, I've learned how to ask for gifts even in money situations. It works out quite well. Look through your room. Is there anything which you've really wanted someone else to do but they haven't done it yet? Tell them you want that done for your BDay. Usually housework like this costs little money. Get an online calendar personalized. I had a chinchilla one made for me, and now I can remember the gift for an entire year. I'm asking for another calendar this year. Most online personalized calendars are under $25. Go to Amazon.com and create a wishlist to share with your family. Tell them that you'll have this wishlist constantly updated so they'll always know what to buy for you. CDs are popular choices, or if you use iTunes request an iTunes gift card. Still play Nexon games? Ask for NX. If you're going to be moving out this year, ask for things that will help you on your move out. For example, I asked my mom to make me a cookbook with all of our family recipes. She was allowed to personalize it for me, and I was able to save a lot of money cooking for myself when I moved out, plus eating food I'm used to make the new place a lot more homey. Are you saving up for something? Ask them to chip in a few bucks to help you save for it. When you eventually buy the item, share/show it to your family. They'll like it for sure. Do not expect anything for your birthday. Remember, your parents have given you room and board for free (for most people anyway), and that's a huge savings right there. You don't deserve gifts on your birthday (really, an acknowledgement is enough). Graciously accept anything and everything they give you. Justin's Birthday Wishlist - Link - 2010-07-23 Fiel Wrote:Do not expect anything for your birthday. Yeah, that's the biggest rule. I never expect anything and I always ask for nothing. lol But my parents constantly insist, so I try to give them ideas. Usually, if anything, I just ask for gift cards and stuff. Those other ideas are very nice, but stuff like, that eh... I'm an extremely low-maintenance person and I don't really care for much or need much. lol Meh... NX. I can't really get that, since it's extremely expensive buying NX for Nexon Japan games from the United States. I'd have to pay $4 extra per $10 worth of NX. Justin's Birthday Wishlist - Kurosora - 2010-07-23 I already got you a birthday present peach Justin's Birthday Wishlist - Link - 2010-07-23 Kurosora Wrote:I already got you a birthday present peach Indeed you did. <3 You and Dennis both.
Justin's Birthday Wishlist - xAyakoCx - 2010-07-23 Happy Early Birthday ![]() Anyway, if there's a movie you REALLY want to watch, you could buy the DVD for it ![]() As for Fiel's bold text, well I agree it's important. Don't expect anything. Make it surprises.
Justin's Birthday Wishlist - Swerve - 2010-07-23 I went to a strip club for my 18th birthday with some of my classmates. I've also wanted to try out hookers, but that's just a little too risky for me at this moment in my life. Justin's Birthday Wishlist - Link - 2010-07-23 Ew. Strip clubs and that kind of crap is really nasty. I don't mean nasty in the erotic sense, either. They're all f'ucking disgusting. I don't care how much someone tells me "they're really clean," I will never not think they're fking disgusting. I'll never go to a strip club. Lmfao My dad wants to take me out to a bar to get hammered for my 21st birthday, though, which is next year. I still don't know... I'm completely against alcohol going into my body. lol Justin's Birthday Wishlist - Kurtle - 2010-07-23 After 18 my parents only give us like 50 bucks and treat us to dinner. Justin's Birthday Wishlist - DeanNim - 2010-07-23 Lucky you, all i get is scoldings. the last present i ever got(from parents) was a watch and that is in 2006. Anyway, you need, you must get an ipad :c Justin's Birthday Wishlist - Swerve - 2010-07-23 ShiKage Wrote:My dad wants to take me out to a bar to get hammered for my 21st birthday, though, which is next year. I still don't know... I'm completely against alcohol going into my body. lol That pretty much sounds like the standard-fare 21st birthday for any kid growing up in the United States. Drinking honestly isn't that awesome. The same goes for strip joints. I did it just to satisfy my own curiosity. Justin's Birthday Wishlist - ★★★★★ - 2010-07-23 Oddly, i have the same standpoints on Alcohol and Strip Joints. I might lightly drink when..iono...im 25 or something. But i will NEVER be one of those drunks... |
