Spread the news! This summer is the best time ever to join MapleStory! Were rolling out the Welcome Wagon for all new users that register between July 21st and August 17th, 2010.
Its the best summer vacation ever! Heres what you can expect during your summer in MapleStory:
Make New Friends!
Just add 10 buddies to your buddy list between July 21st and August 17th, 2010 and go to the Cash Shop to be rewarded with a VIP Teleport Scroll! This scroll will teleport you just about anywhere in Maple World so go and pick up a few souvenirs!
Note: Your 10th buddy must be added before August 18th to be eligible.
Get a Summer Job!
Level any character to 10 and acquire your first job advancement and receive a powerful scroll that can enhance your weapon and a Magnifying Glass that can uncover an items hidden potential. Its that easy!
Go to a Party!
From July 21st through August 17th, 2010, take advantage of the Moon Bunny Party Quest located in Henesys and youll receive an extra 25% EXP! Meet your new friends and party together because everyone will be able to enjoy this bonus experience!
Climb the Levels!
If you reach level 20 before August 18th 2010, youll receive a 4-hour 2x EXP coupon to help you climb even higher! The 2x EXP takes effect as soon as you retrieve it from the Cash Shop by double clicking on the coupon from the Cash Shop inventory.

They have this kind of event every few months.
Last year it was a Pet + 2x Coupon + CS Weapon if you got to level 20 on a new account or something.

lol evveryone in maple: mass lag on maple island 1-10 get scroll, transfer, delete remake. 1-10 can be done in like 10 minutes(?) so 6 per hour? 48 in 8 hours? this will be good...

It will only be good if they give us the 90% scrolls for getting to level 10.
If it's the 70%s...ehhhhh. At least this means merchants can't jack up the prices of % equipments to insane levels. Of course, potential system also means THE MESO EXPLOIT WAS NOT THAT BIG A DEAL AT ALL.

The most expensive Glass I saw was like 30k from an NPC. You buy them at every pot shop, so expect them selling for 1m each in the FM.

Yeah, well, if it really gave the 90% scrolls and it was do-able as many times as you wanted, that'd be really.. broken. I hope they're not so stupid to do it.
