They never said ANYTHING about the ring event.
It needs a patch to be extended too.

I just realised. Even if they bring back the ring event, it doesn't even matter for my characters. My gunslinger got rolledback to level 32, but before I cleared the level 30 quest. So I'd have to make another character AGAIN from scratch now since the quest expired.
