Is it worth the upgrade from Firefox 2?

So Firefox 3... - TugboatWilly - 2008-07-01

very much so. a few nice new features and the memory usage is down a lot.

So Firefox 3... - Kevvl - 2008-07-01

I still prefer IE =[

So Firefox 3... - Mira - 2008-07-01

I tried FF3 and I still prefer IE7 over it. Smile

So Firefox 3... - Hazzy - 2008-07-01

I prefer Fire Fox. :o
Fire Fox had tabs long before IE. <3
It also had Ad-Block. Big Grin

Fire Fox's best feature, from what I've seen, is it's ability to save your pages. Big Grin I can close out with five sites open, and come back tomarrow with them. <3

Besides, Fire Fox just sounds cooler.

I have a laptop with Vista, and Firefox 3.0 doesn't get along with it at all.
So I'm using Firefox 2 on that one.

As for my desktop with XP, I am still using 2.

So Firefox 3... - arrowhead - 2008-07-01

Yeah, it's worth it. It actually feels faster, too!

So Firefox 3... - Daakun - 2008-07-01

YES.

The only thing I don't like about FF3 is that my old Super Mario Bros. 3 theme isn't compatible yet. xd

So Firefox 3... - Harp - 2008-07-02

I'm using Opera.

;_;

So Firefox 3... - BlankShot - 2008-07-02

I guess. It loads faster for me than IE7 and Firefox2, however my theme of Choice (BlackJapan MAX) isn't compatible D:

</3 Default skins.

So Firefox 3... - HiiEN - 2008-07-02

I'm fine with FF3, default skin looks good enough for me until they release a better skin, lol.

So Firefox 3... - PieM4ster - 2008-07-02

I personally find it better, but I just like the big back button.

So Firefox 3... - wobbufet - 2008-07-02

I <3 FF3 it's just great :p

So Firefox 3... - Yoorah - 2008-07-02

Not upgrading is just stupid, unless you have a technical problem preventing you from doing so. >_o
FF3 has had numerous rendering and memory management performance optimizations.

Wait, why doesn't it work with vista? (Haven't upgraded yet -- on vista)

-Is glad to still be running on XP-

Anyways isn't FF3 still in it's beta stages? I'm sure if it's reported (I'm guessing it already has by this time) it should be fixed soon. Of course I'm also thinking that perhaps the conflict in compatibility might be intentional in an effort for Microsoft to get users to keep IE7 (shrug)

So Firefox 3... - Sublimity - 2008-07-02

Well its a lot nicer... but for some reason Im getting a lot more errors and freezes.... probably something more to do with vista then FF3 but yeah its "prettier".

It seems that vista and FF3 have a few compatibility problems, vista still seems to be pretty bad compared to XP...

FF3 has had its official launch like a week ago; it's no longer in beta (or RC) state.

So Firefox 3... - Sublimity - 2008-07-02

People keep telling me to switch back to xp but I really like vista's style. I like the look, the organisation etc etc so yeah dont want to do that.

I dont have compatibility issues so much just that i close it and its "still running" and I have to kill it to get rid of it. And a few freezes, issues that I never had with FF2 on vista.
