Dragon strike's new cast time - Takebacker - 2010-06-16

It is now 52 casts per minute in normal form. It was around 43 last patch.

Edit: The cast time in transformed state is the same...with a slight difference. The animation is slightly slower, but on the upside DRAGON STRIKE WHEN TRANSFORMED HAS NO RE-USE DELAY WHATSOEVER.

Edit 2: Scratch that. What nexon did was make it so that it doesn't have a delay if you don't hit any monsters. If you hit monsters, it has a delay. Which means dragon strike in transform is "slower" than normal form.

Is it pre-balance patch speeds in a Transformed state? I sure hope not. About how much slower is it in a Transformed state in terms of %? Is it ~10% slower? ~50% slower?

Hah! You got the same Super Transform bug that JapanMS got. I don't know if it's the same for KMS, though. Super Transform and Transform have been rendered useless for training.

It's the same speed as what we had last patch. Which is slower than what we got in the balance patch.

Oh wow.

Someone needs to notify Nexon about this. Drain and SSK's speed didn't get reversed did it?

Nope.

Regardless, someone needs to notify Nexon about the Dragon Strike bug. Do not want to be Transformless, especially since I have a level 25 Snatch.

Dragon strike's new cast time - Worthyness - 2010-06-16

this is what we get for being lolaneers =(

Dragon strike's new cast time - AkaSora - 2010-06-16

Dragon strike feels the same to me in transform and I stay invincible even in transform when doing corkscrew and dragon strike combos....weird if there is a delay it doesn't effect me while training anyways.

Dragon strike's new cast time - LegendGospel - 2010-06-16

What is the problem exactly?

When I do CSB > DS over and over, transformed or not, I stay invincible. Isn't that what this patch was supposed to bring us?

I do notice that DS is slower if it hits monsters than just casting it to the air... but if it had the first speed always, it would just be hax o_O. Are we supposed to get that kind of speed?

Same here. I'm able to stay completly invncible at ob4 transformed. To my eyes DS transformed does look faster than it was pre-balance patch, however.

Dragon strike's new cast time - LegendGospel - 2010-06-17

I haven't got to Pap yet, but...

For me, pre-balance patch DS seemed like it was faster damage in combo. As in, it was faster damage doing Barrage > DS on Pap during transformation, now it seems you attack slower thus damage slower, BUT you have more invincibility frames. It feels weird, can't really tell. :S

Dragon strike's new cast time - IllegallySane - 2010-06-17

I fired up a ticket to Nexon about this bug. I hope I get a reply back.

Dragon strike's new cast time - Manu - 2010-06-19

I was wondering something about this, haven't tested it but, with the new dragonstrike speed would it be better to just spam DS on the 3 cwk pq bosses?
I mean, what's faster, the old barrage + DS combo (which btw, feels faster to me now) or the DS to 3 monsters spam?
Maxed barrage is 2300%
Maxed Dragon is 3x 810% = 2430%
It all goes down to speed, any thoughts/clarifications?

Dragon strike's new cast time - Pride - 2010-06-19

Can somebody check if CSB's invincibility frames are gone ?
There's a rumor that it's gone on Insoya o_o

*The new KMST patch

Well first of all, this is for GMS.

Second of all, how could there be a rumor about that when the infighter advancement is glitched in KMST?

I have no idea o_o

Probably players who had Infighters/Buccaneers/Vipers before these changes came in.

If those rumors are true, I'm going to have to bomb Nexon... If we just lost our invulnerability frames, there's no uniqueness in the class AT ALL anymore. GOOD BYE, FUN OF THE VIPER CLASS!

I'm hoping they are only talking about those who got hit BEFORE they used CSB, or they are merely yanking our chains.

Also, I got a ticket response for Dragon Strike, I hope it does get addressed. I linked this thread as evidence, and I'm not sure if the response sounds automated or not:

Someone answer my previous question please Tongue
As for the invincibility frames things, that'd suck.... then again there's this new counter attack skill, but that doesn't make up for it....
