30,000 nx :d - Punch - 2009-12-27
So umm I recently received 30,000 NX for Christmas
And I would like to spend it on only useful things, because I almost NEVER get NX, and carry on just fine in Maple..
In other words, I would only like to purchase permanent things like hair/eyes/gachapon or anything thats EXTREMELY worth it!
So, maybe you can help me!
My active characters:
Khaini-
A 70 Marauder (Has Permanent White Tiger Pet, Black Metro Hair, Purple Innocent Eyes)
A 60 Night Walker (No NX spent, will only play if im REALLY bored of all othe characters xD)
A 47 Aran (No NX spent)
And about 140m or more $ .. decent equips.. no more valuable items/scrolls/etc to sell in my shop =/
I also play in Galicia ..
I have a 38 Lukless Cleric (No NX spent)
And a 20 Gunslinger (No NX spent, dont bother)
There? LOL I have like under 20k in mesos.. hopefully my Karstan will sell x_X
Basically NOW I am playing my Khaini Aran and my Galicia Cleric and I'll see which one I stick to..
Nonetheless, I will be staying active in Khaini and Galicia.. but I am not sure which more.. yet..

if not, a few months ago, nexon had a cs event kind of thing that lasted a week or so where certain nx clothes/pets were sold as "permanants" and would never expire. They costed a bit more, but worth it. Not much of a selection though. Only about 5 items or so per week.

It helps if you know which character you are most likely to stick to for 90 days. If you can decide on a character some prefer to level it fast so they can enjoy the perks of being a high level, or gloat their money by buying NX clothes.

Apples are a nice, steady source of income, assuming your character is a high enough level to APQ on a regular basis. Aside from the permanent cosmetic changes you already listed (hair, eyes, blahblah) I'd always recommend getting married over gach/store permit, because it's a much more reliable source of meso.

What level should you be to apq on a regular basis?

Depends on the server you play. If its a large server, 80-90+ would get you in. If your in a smaller server where its rare to find a party (like kradia for example) any lvl is fine, even if its around lvl 50.
&getting married is a good way to spend some nx, all the apples you'd get would really enhance your playing experience. But if your into actual nx stuff, go for eyes/hair, or maybe even a few clothing items would be nice [:

Funny that you say "I almost never get NX", because ... well....
I've never paid for NX or MTSed for it. This is a choice I've made, even though a rationale for not using MTS is very hard to come up with =P
Any NX-like benefits I may receive are either from friends who donate out of good will, Nexon fking up (Monster Book anyone?), or me winning contests that contribute to the community. So I have to be frugal with what I earn. I'm not proud on how I've spent my NX (and I probably will never be), but I'd like to go for deals that get you the most benefit. Clothes and temporary pets are NEVER on my shopping list, and neither would that lotto stuff be considered. I was contemplating getting a 1k sale basic store permit, but I woke up too late for that >_>

When I did play in Scania a lot, just being lv 110+ gets you in a party easily. However, if there a lot of NLs (back in DA DAYZ), NLs usually has priority, especiallly some of the higher levelled ones. These days, idk. I don't play anymore. At 133, I could easily solo Geist Balrog by myself without any help, so I always added lower-levelled characters in my party so the little ones gets to gain some apples and exp. Every higher-levelled character has gotten a chance to APQ, it's just the 5x-8x characters that rarely gets a chance to due to their levels. So I tried to treat those people nicely, because there were others that added my 5x Cleric to their APQ party.
