District 9 - WingZero - 2009-08-14 Just came back from seeing it and it was fricking amazing! I loved the documentary style of the movie, it made the movie seem very real. I was surprised by the strength of the emotion in the movie, I actually felt sorry for the way the aliens were treated. Action wasn't non-stop, but there was enough so that there was never really a dull moment in the movie. The alien weapons were badass, especially the mech. There were also weapons that you would expect an alien to have, like a vaporizer! Great storyline and sick action. 9/10 Pros:
Cons:
District 9 - Kurtle - 2009-08-14 I went and saw this at midnight yesterday. I have to say it was one of the better movies I have seen in a while. If you didn't pick up on it, the film is based on Apartheid in South Africa when white South Africans and black South Africans were segregated. I hope to God there is a sequel to this. There are 3 or 4 possible routes the Prawns can take. 9.5/10 District 9 - WingZero - 2009-08-14 Kurtle Wrote:I went and saw this at midnight yesterday.
